Last updated: 26 October 2026
1. Welcome to NAVX Hosting
NAVX Hosting provides a hosted service that allows customers to access and manage supported UniFi networking equipment through a remotely hosted platform.
These Terms and Conditions explain how our service works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
By signing up for or using our service, you agree to these terms.
2. Who we are
NAVX Hosting is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.
In these terms, “NAVX”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of NAVX Hosting. “You” and “your” mean the person or business using our service.
Business details to add: [Your full legal name and business contact address].
3. What our service provides
We provide hosting for supported UniFi management services, allowing you to manage your compatible networking equipment remotely.
Our service includes the features described on our website or in the plan you purchase.
We may maintain, update or improve the service from time to time.
4. Your equipment and responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Owning or having permission to manage the equipment you connect.
- Making sure your equipment, internet connection and network are suitable for the service.
- Keeping your account login details secure.
- Using the service legally and responsibly.
- Keeping your equipment and any connected systems appropriately updated.
- Maintaining your own backups of important settings and configuration information where possible.
You must not use our service to carry out unlawful activities, attack other networks, interfere with other customers or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system.
5. Shared hosting
Our hosting infrastructure is shared between multiple customers.
We take reasonable steps to keep customer accounts and services separate. However, the underlying infrastructure may be shared.
You must not attempt to access another customer’s account, equipment, information or services.
You should not assume that shared hosting provides the same level of isolation as a dedicated physical server.
6. Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep our service available and working reliably, but we cannot promise that it will be available at all times.
Occasional interruptions may occur because of maintenance, software updates, hardware problems, internet connectivity issues or circumstances outside our control.
Where reasonably possible, we will try to give advance notice of planned maintenance.
If something goes wrong, we will make reasonable efforts to investigate and restore the service.
7. Software and third-party services
Our service may depend on software, infrastructure and services provided by other companies.
We do not control those third parties and cannot guarantee that their services will always be available or operate without errors.
Your use of third-party software is also subject to any applicable terms and licence conditions imposed by its provider.
NAVX Hosting is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Ubiquiti Inc. UniFi and Ubiquiti are trademarks of their respective owner.
8. Pricing and payments
Our current prices are shown on our website or presented to you when you sign up.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not intend to store your full payment card details on our own systems.
You agree to pay the charges associated with your selected plan.
If a payment fails, we may contact you to arrange payment. If payment remains outstanding, we may suspend your service after giving reasonable notice, where appropriate.
Any recurring payments, billing frequency and applicable taxes will be explained when you sign up.
9. Cancelling your service
You can cancel your service by following the cancellation instructions on our website or contacting us directly.
Your service will end in accordance with the billing arrangements and cancellation terms shown when you signed up.
We will explain any applicable final charges or refund arrangements clearly.
If you are a consumer buying online, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days. Whether that right applies, and what happens if you ask us to start providing the service immediately, depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
Nothing in these terms removes any cancellation or refund rights you have under the law.
10. Suspending or ending your service
We may suspend or end your access if:
- You seriously breach these terms.
- You use the service unlawfully or put other customers or our infrastructure at risk.
- Your account remains unpaid after appropriate notice.
- We need to act urgently to protect the security or stability of the service.
Where reasonably possible, we will contact you first and give you an opportunity to resolve the problem.
If we need to discontinue the service, we will aim to give reasonable notice and explain the options available to you.
Any refund due will be assessed in accordance with your agreement and applicable law.
11. Your data and privacy
We collect and use personal information to operate the service, manage your account, process payments, provide support and maintain security.
We may keep operational logs and use service providers to help us deliver and maintain the service.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and your rights.
Please read our Privacy Policy at: Privacy Policy
You should avoid storing unnecessary personal or confidential information in your network configuration.
12. Backups and configuration data
We take reasonable steps to operate and maintain our hosting service, but you should not rely on NAVX as your only copy of important network configurations.
Where the platform allows it, we recommend keeping your own current backups.
If data or configuration information is lost or corrupted, we will make reasonable efforts to assist, but recovery may not always be possible.
This section does not remove any legal responsibility we have for our own failures.
13. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect our hosting infrastructure and the information we hold.
However, no online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your own devices, network, account credentials and local equipment.
Please tell us promptly if you suspect that your account has been accessed without permission or that a security issue affects our service.
14. Our responsibility to you
We will provide our service with reasonable care and skill, as required by applicable law.
We are not responsible for problems caused by your own equipment, your internet provider, third-party services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, except where the law says otherwise.
We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated when you signed up, or losses caused by your failure to take reasonable steps to protect your own systems and data.
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. In particular, nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when necessary, for example to reflect changes to our service, security requirements or the law.
We will make the updated terms available on our website and give reasonable notice of significant changes where appropriate.
If a change materially affects your rights, we will explain the change and any options available to you, including cancellation where applicable.
16. Complaints and support
If you have a problem with our service, please contact us using the contact details published on our website.
We will try to understand the problem, explain what has happened and work towards a reasonable solution.
17. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless another law must apply.
Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
18. Contact us
